This journal is starting to get very busy. I hope its not got too much going on for anyone to bother with it. Let me know if you think thats the case.
I have updated the link section at the bottom and have also added some new competition. If your running a competition, then let me know and I will add it to this list and PIMP it in the AR Journal as well.
I have come to the conclusion that Daily Deviations are curious things. The other day I awarded a DD to someone that had only been a member on dA for a few days and hardly anyone who visited his page commented or faved.
Maybe I picked an image that other people didn't like, or maybe it was because he was new and therefore not worthy of a DD. Or maybe its because od something else.
My question really is this...
Why do you look at the Daily Deviations?or even...
Why don't you look at the Daily Deviations?Let me know and I will try and make better selections.

I am really happy to take your suggestions for Daily Deviations. Conceptual Photography can often be overlooked in the wider photography world because of the need to understand and appreciate the idea being portrayed.
So please if you come across a photograph you want to suggest and it clearly shows that the photographer concieved the idea before the shot was taken. Then send me a note titled DD Suggestion with a thumb of the image and a short description of why you like it.
I can't promise to feature everything. But I will try and find away to promote everything you send me.
But remember.... Conceptual Photography only.

Simple - To find new artists, new pieces of art - if they've been awarded a DD I know it's worth clicking on, then I can explore the artist's gallery, go onto their friends etc :)

Nothing personal against those artists -- it's just a taste thing.
However, I like the fact that DDs offer a great variety of works. They help make deviants from many fields more known.

I suggest DDs quite regularly, and I think they're always a great way to find new awesome artists. And although I don't agree with every single pick, you guys generally have the most excellent taste.
