This didn't work in camera. It's been through quite a bit of post production to get it to how I want it.

- The sea has been stretched.
- The sky has been darkened.
- The gap between the foot and the sea has been widened.

If you think it's now a manipulation then your probably right.

People shouldn't care if it's a manipulation or not... if the distinction is small, and here the post production to make the elements meld together has worked, then it is just a great image. It has your style written all over it Pete! :-)

now, don't you say anything against the jamie :laughing: but i see there's a similar picture around in your gallery, so seems you did not copy him. although, if you do play the piano, that might again lead me into thinking you did.

I agree. I really don't get hung up on the manipulation argument. An image is an image. I would have loaded this into the manip category to prevent any criticism, but dA isn't letting me access the categories.

Problematic site this... I use other image sites with 5 to 10 times the image content and have no problem viewing or loading up. Shame.
