Artist's Comments

I am really enjoying the challenge of shooting this scene. I keep going there at different times of the day when I know the light will be working differently. Its interesting to see how the scene changes in the light.

I don't think I have nailed this shot yet and present this latest shot as proof that I'm still attempting it.

The textures is all wrong. It needs more sun in the foreground and a little more shade at the rear. It runs north to south so I think it will probably be a mid morning or mid afternoon sun that will do it, but probably later in the year when the sun is not so low in the sky.

this is far the best shot out there, but you can do better, we will be waiting.
Thank you. I think the sun needs to be a little higher in the sky to break over the hill a little better. Maybe a late evening shot.
