Hiroshi Sugimoto takes the most sublime seascapes. His images are so empty and poetic and I find myself emulating him in some of my images (although not nearly to the same degree of perfection) [link]

ahaha. you've got a point, but that certain space exploration was only headed to florida, so i didn't have much mystery to go up against. unlike the ocean. the everchanging vast abstruseness.

i can't say i'm thrilled about closed spaces, but i'm not afraid of them much.
that sort of makes me think about experimenting with fears for pictures.
now where am i going to get a tarantula?
